A little about me...... 

I started my teaching career in 1999, teaching 4th grade, at Altamont Elementary School.  I've taught both 4th and 5th graders.  I love teaching and really can't see myself doing anything else.  Well, maybe being a veternarian, because I love animals!  I have a great family with my husband, Doug, two daughters Brittany & Madeleine, and black lab named Hailey Rose.  We live in Glenmont in a wonderful "pleasantville" community much like that of Altamont.  

Every year I look forward to meeting my new class and taking the school year journey together.  Meeting students for the first time in September and helping them grow and move on to 5th grade is an unbelievable experience.  I am very lucky to have this opportunity.
